The University of Madras Arts and Science College, Nemmeli is the first Constituent College of the University of Madras, which was established by the Government of Tamil Nadu in the year 2011. The aim of the Government and the University is to satisfy the higher education needs of socially and economically backward, downtrodden and also first generation and the fisher folk community students etc.,

How to apply:

1. Application should be submitted through online only. 

2. Candidates are requested to fill in the online application form with utmost care as no modification will be allowed after submitting the online application form. 

3. Application Fee to be paid online mode only. 

4. On submission of Community Certificate (SC/ST), one online application form will be free of cost. 5. Valid E-mail ID and mobile number is mandatory. 

6. Submitting the application does not guarantee admission in the College. 

7. The filled in online applications should be sent to the College Principal along with the attested photo copies of the following: 

• a) STD X - Statement of Marks 
• b) STD XII or equivalent Certificate 
• c) UG Degree Statement of Marks, Provisional Certificate / Convocation Certificate 
• d) Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate 
• e) Community Certificate 
• f) Certificate of proof for the differently abled / Sports / NCC / Ex.Servicemen 
• g) Aadhar Xerox 
• 8. Provisionally selected candidates name will be displayed in the College notice board. 
• 9. Applicants are instructed to attend the interview on the given date and time. 
• 10. Candidate will be admitted through the single window system. The date will be intimated later. 
• 11. The counselling of the candidate will be conducted as per the Marks. 
• 12. Age limit: The age limit for admission to PG courses as per the Government of Tamil Nadu norms. 
• 13. Admission Rule: Admission will be made based on the rule of Reservation of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
