Govt of Tamilnadu, Department of Handlooms and Textiles invited applications for 3 years Diploma Course in Handloom and Textile Technology in Indian Institute of Handloom Technology (IIHT) Salem. Age limit is 23 years UR and 25 years for SC / ST candidates. 20% seat is reserved for Tamil Nadu candidates. Total intake students are 26 seats.

• 23 Seats for Tamil Nadu candidates
• Salem centre - 5 seats
• Andhra Centre - 4 seats
• Karnataka Centre - 8 seats
• Kerala Centre - 6 seats

Stipend 400 per month for first year. 450 pm for second year. 500 pm for 3rd year.
